MARTHA KWAMBOKA MATOKA

We regret to announce the sudden demise of our beloved mother Martha Kwamboka Matoka, formerly of Kenya Forest Services – Karura, which occurred on 19th August, 2021, at Shalom Hospital, Athi River, after a Short illness.

Wife of Matoka Michori (Formerly KEFRI -Muguga). Mother of the late Ongeri, Esther, Emily (USA), Tange (France), lsaaka and Leakey. Sister-in-law of the late Isaaka Michori, the late Ogutu Michori and the late Omenda Michori: Moraa Michori and Obino Michori. Mother-in-law to Tahir.

Daughter of the late Mwengei Orora and Teresa Mokeira of Gesabakwa, Botondo. Sister of Josephine (KEFRI), the late Salome, Stellah, Isaac (KARI Molo), Mark (KEFRI – Muguga), Tom, Nyamari, Gesaka and Daudi. Other in-laws are Onyiego, Mwende (KEFRI-Kitui), Mary and Sarange.

Aunt of the Ogutu’s (Mary Mbunya, Isabella, Omari, Cliff, among others. Aunt of Omenda’s (Kepha, Kennedy, Omwoyo, Ombati, among others), Obino’s (Benfred, Mairura, among others) and the lsaakas. Grandmother of Leroy, Gabriela, Vanessa, Randy, Sizzla and Nile. Korera to Mary Oanya. Mother-in-law to Samba and Tim.

The cortege leaves Shalom Hospital Mortuary on 30th August, 2021, at 8:00am, for a church service at Syokimau SDA Church.

Thereafter the cortege will leave for Metembe Village, Masimba, Nyaribari Masaba Kisii County, for Burial on Tuesday 31st August, 2021.
