PHILIP EGESA WANJALA

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved son, brother, father Mr. Philip Egesa Wanjala formerly of Stanbic Bank, Bank of Africa and Sidian Bank which occurred on the 26th August 2021 at the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital, Mombasa.

Son to Mr. Edward Lusui Wanjala and the late Mama Elizabeth Nasiminyu of Wenyila Village, Webuye sub-county, Bungoma County. Husband to Ann Aura and father to Lailani, Fadhili, Erica, Ellis and Ellian. Brother to the late Nelly, late Caroline, Pauline, Oliver, Antony, the late Kevin and Lornah. Brother in-law to Ernest Oluseno, Doreen Kituyi and Peninah Mokeira amongst many more.

Uncle to Stayce, Jeremy, Sean, Ethan, Elroy, Jabulani, Jabali and many more others. Nephew to the late Mama Ruth Nabututu, Herbert Simiyu, Jerita Namarome, the late Mama Mary Angela Barasa, Judith Wanambiro , Mzee Jesse Masika and the late Mama Jane Mulongo of Miendo Bungoma County.

He was also the nephew to Mzee Joseph Wanyama, the late Charles Okumu, Maurice Waswa, Margaret Wawire, Mary Vaima. Aunts Margaret, Beatrice, Mary, Abigael, Rose and Kate. Also nephew to Uncles Sam, Ronnie and Frank Khaemba of Nambanya village, Kakamega County amongst many others.

Cousin to the Wakhungus, the Simiyus, the Wanyamas, the Barasas, the Masikas, the Wanambiros and the Mulongos. Cousins also to the Wanyamas, the Okumus, the Waswas, the Wawires and the Amasimbas among many others.

The cortege will leave Mombasa for Bungoma today Monday 30th August 2021. The funeral service will take place at his father’s farm in Wenyila Village, Webuye Sub-county, Bungoma County this week on Friday the 3rd of September 2021 from 10am.
