Daughter of the late Kitawa Gichiu and late Ruth M’itawa. Beloved wife of the late Onesmus Kmbogori Marete (Kmbui). Sister of the late Gladys Zablon and the late Erastus Kitawa, among others. Sister-in-law of the late Nkaabu Marete, the late Agnes Kmugambi, the late Chief Joses Marangu Marete, the late Beatrice Muguna, the late Margaret Reuben, the late Eliphas Kaburu Marete, Agnes Msarithi and the late Wilfred Muthamia Marete.
