MZEE CHRISTOPHER OGOLA METHO

It’s with deep shock and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved father, the late Mzee Christopher Ogola Metho of Kogola Nyawita, Kisumo Karateng’, Maseno division. He passed away on 25th August, 2021, at Maseno Mission Hospital. His body lies at Masaba Hospital Mortuary to be buried on 3rd September, 2021, at his home in Kisumo Karateng’.

He was born to the late Mzee William Metho Ogola and the late mama Nereah Auma. He was married to the late mama Joyce Wesonga Metho. Son-in-law to the late Dishon Ogot and the late mama Abisagi Ogot. Father of Tom Metho, the late George Wasuna, the late Elizabeth Atieno, the late Erick Edwin Metho, Grace Edna Achieng’ (USA) and Robert Okeyo.

His daughters-in-law are Triza Erick Metho and Gorretti Nyakachwa Metho. Father-in-law to the late Raphael Omondi Opuodho and the late George Omollo Okech. His brothers are the late Walter Omino, the late honourable Joab Omino, the lateJoseph Ogot, Henry Ogola (Bayi), Charles Omino, Juma Abok, George Omino, Dan Omino, James Marufu, Philip Awinyo, Gordon Osok, Benson Ogola,Willis Osir (Trump) and the late John Abok among others. His brothers-in-law are the last John Rabuogi Ogot, Martin Ogot, Sammy Ogot and Jack Ogot. His sister in law was the late Mary Walumbe. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
