Son of the late Mzee Hannington Onango and mama Mariam Guya. Beloved husband of Wilkister Oswere. Father of Judith Ogutu, Mike Ogolla, Simon Owino, Anne Akinyi, Nathan Muga, Martha Awuor and Silas Mwakodi. Brother of William Okumu, Charles Auma, Rev. Samwel Otieno, the late Thomas Aguko, Evengelist Joyce Adhiambo, the late Norah Achieng, Rose Atieno, Jane Akoth. Father-in-(aw of the late Joseph Adala, Beatrice Ogola, jackline Owino, Florence Muga, Wilson Arua, James Musavi. Leaving behind 17 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Migori County Referral Hospital on Saturday 11th September, 2021 and will be laid to rest at his home in Bondo Nyironge Village, Wasweta II Ward, Suna West Sub-county, Migori County, at 12 noon on the 2021 same day.
