LYDIA WAIRIMU KARIUKI (MAMA MUNGAI)

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we accept and announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Lydia Wairimu Kariuki (Mama Mungai) of Topsel, daughter of the late Edward Kiarie Muthama and the late Appolonia Wanjiku Kiarie.

Wife to the late Julius Kariuki Mungai, mother to the late Geoffery Mungai, Edward Kiarie and the late Levina Wanjiku. Sister to the late John Muthama, Peter Muthama (Riverside School), Samuel Mirie, Michael Kinyanjui (Abdalla), Christine Wambui, Nicholas Ndung’u (Kianguru), the late Lucy Nyathira, Julia Njeri and David Karanja (Bihan). Sister-in-law to Lucy Muthama, Anne Muthama, Gladys Mirie, Alice Kinyajui, Charity Ndung’u and Hellen Karanja.

Funeral arrangements are being held daily at her home in Waithaka location, Dagoretti South Constituency.

Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Wednesday 15th September 2021 at 7.00am for a funeral mass at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church-Waithaka at 11.00am and later for a burial ceremony at Langata cemetery.
