It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing on to glory of Lucy Nyokabi Karanja, formerly of Iganjo Textiles and thereafter Bakhita Stalls and Iganjo Animal Feeds Ltd.

Wife to George Karanja Mwangi of Loresho. Daughter of the Late Njunguna Kihogo and the Late Victoria Gachira of Makwa Village. Daughter-in-law to the Late Mwangi Githete and the Late Susan Wamuhu of Igikiro, Kamahuha Village. Mother to Susan Karanja Oluoch, Bernard Karanja of Kabern Enterprises, Vicky Muthusi,Terry Shiku and Liz Karanja of Iganjo Animal Feeds Ltd. Mother-in-law to Col. Bernard Oluoch, Triza Kiboi of Multi-Care Medical and Pius Muthusi.

Sister to the Late Ruth Ngonyo (Munyinyi), Late Janet Muikamba, Margaret Wanja, Felistas Njeri, Mary Ngonyo, Late Margaret Nyokabi, the Late Patrick Muiruri, John Njunguna, among others. Sister-in-law to Joseph Kanyutu, Jane Wanjira and Cecilia Njeri, John Gichuru (late) and Michelina, Charles Githina (late) and Sabina, Oscar Mungai (late) and Nancy among others. Grandmother to Njeri, Kate, Kezy, Ashley, Augustine, Angeline, Karen, Robert, Eric and Michael. Great grandmother to Seleiyan.

Meetings are being held at her Loresho home and Igikiro home.
