DR. SAMUEL MATI GIDEON MWINZI

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Samuel Mati Gideon Mwinzi, which occurred on Tuesday, 12th October 2021.

Husband of the late Bretta Kanini Mwinzi, he is survived by his daughters Carolyne Mwende Mwinzi Oluyede, Maureen Kathini Mwinzi, Jennifer Mueni Mwinzi and by his grandchildren Bretta Oluyede, Sammie-Marie Oluyede, Nzambu Musili and Oluwafemi Ziekii Oluyede. Father-in-law of Stephen Oluyede and Musili Nzambu. He was the son of Gideon Nzoka Mati and Tabitha Mbesa Mad of Mwingi, and brother of the late Hon. Frederick Mbiti Mati, Mrs. Naomi Kavyu, Prof. Japheth Mati and Mr. Jacob Mad, Advocate.

The memorial service will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, on Tuesday October 19th, 2021 at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, 23rd October 2021 for a funeral and burial service starting at 11:00 a.m. at his home in Muuluko, Mwingi.

In life you gave so much to so many and we thank God for the blessing of you in our lives. Rest in Peace.
