JOHN MWANGI KARIENYE

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and untimely passing on of John Mwangi Karienye, of Creek Tours & Travels and Chairman of Great Rift Tour Operators Association.

Husband to Jacinta Nduta Mwangi. Father to Daniel Mwangi (US), Grace Mwihaki Mwangi and Moses Mwangi (US). Son to the late Moses Karienye Yohanna and the late Grace Mwihaki Nderu. Son-in-law to the late Daniel Njuguna and Hannah Wanjiru. Brother to Jane Mendi (US), the late Angela Murimi, Patrick Mwangi (US), Eddy Muthemba and Joseph Chege. Grandfather to Leeroy Nyamu, Elmar Asher and Liam Mwangi. Father-in-love to Samuel Nyamu and Harriet Waruguguru. A loving and caring cousin, nephew and uncle to the Nderus and Yohanas. A treasured in-law to the Njugunas and a dear friend and mentor to many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are being held at his home in Kiamunyi, Nakuru and at Hotel Waterbuck – Nakuru, from 5.00pm daily.

A memorial service will be held on Monday I 8th October, at AIC Shabab Nakuru from 2.00pm.

Burial will take place on Tuesday 19th October, at the family farm in Ol Jabet, Marmanet, Laikipia County.
