MAMA SALINA RAJORO AUMA

Born: 1920 — Rested: 13th October, 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Bishop of Maseno East, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Joshua Owiti Ouma, announces the death of Mama Salina Rajoro Auma, which occurred on 13th October, 2021, after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Filipo Odanga Jaote and Masiko Odanga. Beloved wife of the late Walter Auma Ongany. Mother to the late Catherine Akungu Apida, the late Yuanita Okoth Mumbo, Risper Abuto Odero, Bishop Joshua Owiti Ouma, Grace Aoko Oriwa and Prisca Odero.

Sister to the late Ludfina, Dindi and Fransisca Aoko. Sister-in-law of the late Orowe Oswera, Nyagol Ongany, Ibrahim Omolo and Abisai Onyuka.Auntie to Agnes and Wilfrida. Her daughters-in-law include; Phoebe Merab Owiti and Grace Ambuso. Mama Salina is survived by 31 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. The eldest grand child is William Ogada Apida.

The Memorial service will be held on Thursday 21st October, 2021, at ACK St. Paul Migingo from 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary for her home, on Friday the 22nd October, 2021 at 7:00am, followed by requiem mass in her home in Migingo village Nyamware South in Kochieng West, from 9.00am.
