RICHARD NANGAKA WANJUSI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Richard Nangaka Wanjusi, which occurred on 25th October, 2021.

He was the son of the late Mohamed Wandwasi Wanjusi and the late Halima Nekesa. Husband to the late Lorna Nangila and the late Rebeccah Nasambu. Father to Prof. Godfrey Mse, Maurice Matete, the late Jane Namalwa, Richard Wanyonyi, the late Wanjusi Nangaka, Lawrence Waziri, Mary Nabangala, Esther Nakhumicha, the late Naaman Wanjala, Carol Nekesa, the late Alex Nyongesa, the late Betty Nafula, the late Simon Wanjala, Loyce Nekesa, and Daniel Wekesa. Father-in-law to Dr. Elizabeth Mse, Margaret Matete, Peninah Matete, Theresiah Wanyonyi, Beatrice Wafula, Caroline Wafula, Mary Nafula, Anne Waziri, Khadija Swaka, Janerose Wanjala, Redempta Wanjala, Sheila Nakhumicha, John Adenya and Martin Manyibei Mzee Nangaka had over 100 grandchildren and over 50 great-grandchildren.

The body is lying at Kenyatta University Funeral Home.

The burial will take place on 5th November, 2021, at his home in Lurare village, Sirisia Sub-county, Bungoma County.
