PHILOMENA NJOKI MURIGU

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Philomena Njoki Murigu.

Wife of the late John Kamau Murigu. Mother of Susan Wanjiru Murigu (Dandora), Josephine Wairimu Murigu (Maai Mahiu), Joseph Mwaura Murigu (Maai Mahiu), Peter Murage Murigu (Maai Mahiu), David Muroki Murigu (Maai Mahiu) and Ann Mukuhi Murigu (Kiambu). Co-wife to Lucy Nyambura Murigu (USA), Mary Njoki Murigu (Ruiru), and Salome Waithera Murigu (Maai Mahiu).

Sister of Teresiah Muthoni, Francis Thuo, James Kinyanjui, Gladys Wambui all from Murigu Ngarariga, Limuru, the late Simon Nyaga, Patrick Chege and late Rose Wangui. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many children.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Maai Mahiu near Sweet World Super Market., starting from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home – Limuru, on Thursday 04/11/2021. Prayers and service will be held at her husband’s home Sipemba, Maai Mahiu Town.
