MAMA MARY MARIGU ELIJAH

With acceptance of God’s wilt, the family of Elijah Njagi announces the promotion to glory of our family matriarch. Mama Mary Marigu Elijah (Ng’ina-wa-Andu), who went to be with the Lord on 5th of November, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late Mwalimu Elijah Njagi Kinyua, daughter to the late Hezekiah and Rae! Ndwigah and the late Ayub and Rebecca Kinyua. Cherished mother to Cathleen Thaara, Dr. Bancy & Ephraim Ngwiri, Job & Monica Ireri, Nancy Njeri, Beth & Allan Nyaga, the late Winnie Njura, Liza & John Kimani, Anthony & Dorothy Njagi, and Jacqueline Wawira. A loving grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Sister to Mwalimu Joel Njiru, Joshua Mbogo, Teresa Rwamba, Beth Muthanje, Alice Warue, Bertha Marigu, Gerald Munyi and Lucas Mugo. Her sisters and brothers through marriage were Egla Cuka, Gladwell Giciku, Munyi Karukenya, Alvan Nyaga, Peter Kanjama, Generosa Ndia, Jackline Muthoni, Julia Njura Monica Marigu, Njeri Njura, Esther Ciamwari, Samuel Njeru, Stanley Njeru, Rosebell Kinyua, Mercy Marigu, Elias Muthee and Rtd. Chief job Davis Ndwigah.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her home in Ndiu Village, Kiangungi Sub-location, Kyeni North East Location, in Embu County, from 3.00pm.

There will be prayer meetings at the All Saints Cathedral, from 5.00pm on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th of November, 2021.

The cortege leaves Tenri Morgue – Ena on 15th November, 2021, at 10.00am, for a Requiem Mass and burial at her home in Ndiu Village, Kyeni North East Location in Embu County.
