It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Cathrine Wambeti Kinyua (Karuriri Pri. Sch), which occurred on the 7th November, 2021, at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Beloved daughter of the late John Nyaga Kanjau, Phides Muthoni Nyaga and Gladys Marigu. Wife to Newton Kinyua Njagi. Daughter-in-law to the late Ephantus Njagi Kavungura, Annette Wanjira Magi and the late Trizah Wamulo Njagi. Mother to Michael Mugendi, Dennis Munene, Mike Mugambi and Susan Kinyua.

Sister to Newton Kariuki, Muriithi (the late), Nancy Wandiri, Margaret Ruguru (the late), Margery Wanjovi (the late), Dickson Njeru, Kenneth Njagi, Derrick Mwaniki Nyaga (OCS Nakuru), Roseline Njokl, David Muchangi Nyaga (Surveyor,Thika), David Niue, Geoffrey Mugo, Bancy Wanja, Gilbert Muchangi (Neno Sacco), Rita Mukami and Morris Mugendi.

Sister-in-law to Jane Karanga, Pamela Ndengeri, Charles Muriithi, Madrine Wawira, Julia Rwamba (Gikuuri Pri. Sch), Robert Munyi, Caroline Wanyaga (Kairuri Pri. Sch), Oscar Njeru, Eunisia Muthoni, Fred Mugo, Casper Masiga, Mercy Muthoni, Lucy Karimi, Catherine Kagwiria, Stephen Munyi, Caroline Wanja, Agnes Wambui, Antony Kariuki, Caroline Mukami and Joseph Wainaina. A friend, colleague, cousin, aunt and grandmother to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at both Kamama Village and Mutunduri home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home- Embu on Tuesday 16th November, 2021, for a funeral service at ACK. St. Cathrine Church – Kairuri and later interment at her home in Kamama village.
