MRS. BENEDICTA CECILIA GAITI MUTHAMIA

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Benedicta Cecilia Gaiti Muthamia which occurred on 9th November, 2021 at the Kenyatta University Research and Referral Hospital. She was born in Meru County.

Daughter to the late Gerald Anampiu and the late Hellen Anampiu. Beloved wife to the late Justus Muthamia M’Miriti (Gentleman). Daughter in Law to late Joseph M’Miriti and late Susan Karea. Wonderful mum to late Boniface Mugambi, Anderson Mutuma, Rose Makandi, Mary Wanjohi, Late Dominic Muthuuri, Martha Buni and Christine Kiragu. Mother in law to Grace Mugambi, Agnes Mutuma, Samuel Wanjohi, Dr. Morris Buni and Stephen Kiragu.

Grandmother to Stephanie, Morris, Ted, Mark, Alex, Rayn, Telvin, Stacy, Denzel, Dennis and Shannia. Sister to the late John Murungi, Late Stephen Kirimi, Elizabeth Kinyua, Anna Muthinja, Consolata Kithinji, Lucy Ntwiga and late Florence Kathure. Sister in law to Pricilla Murungi, late Florence Kanyiri, Kairuthi Kirimi, Stephen Kinyua, Geoffrey Muthinja, Richard Kithinji, Justus Ntwiga, Francis Ngeera, Rose Ngeera, late Julius Kinugu, late Margaret Kinugu, Monicah Kinya, Late Albert Tharimba, late Charles Guantai, late Alice Guantai, Peter Ndubi, Makena Ndubi, Stephen Muthaura, Ruth Muthaura and late Isabella Mukiri. She was an aunt to many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her rural home in Mukuruti Village, Milimani Estate in Meru town and Kahawa Sukari Estate, Nairobi from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral and Research Hospital Funeral Home, Along Northern Bypass, Kahawa West, Nairobi on 17th November, 2021 at 5.00 am for a Requiem Mass at St Albert Catholic Church, Nthimbiri. Burial will take place at her home in Mukuruti Village, Nthimbiri, Meru County.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
