Son of the late Oddone Njau and Hannah Wanjiru of Mutonga Village, Thani Sublocation, Gikondi location in Mukurweini Sub-County. Loving husband of Margaret Wanjiru Ngatia (Ngawa Hardware). Doting father of Joan Wanjiru (Andela), Sarah Waithira (Twiga Chemicals), Esther Wanjiku (Ngara Girls) and Joe Njau Ngatia (Kaheti High school). Brother of Peter Muchoki (Mukurweini), Esther Wanjiku (Mombasa), the late Lucy Wathanu, Zachariah Mugo(Nairobi), Scholastics Njeri (Tuskys), Francis Gathii (Mombasa), Susan Mugechi (Nairobi) and Florence Njau (Nairobi). Adoring grandfather of Adrian Korte Mucangi and father-in-law of Jim Korte.

Friends and Family are meeting at the family’s residence in Ruai.

The cortege will leave Mukurweini Mortuary on Friday 27th March at 7.30a.m. Mass and burial at 11.00am same day at his home in Mutonga Village, near Kabuta Shopping Center Gikondi in ukurweini subcounty Nyeri County.
