MZEE HENRY KARANI OICHOE “TERI RAISI”

1933 – 2021

We regret to announce the death of Mzee Henry Karani Oichoe of Bonyameuru Nyansakia Village, Nyamache, Kisii County & Raitigo Settlement Scheme, Nyamira County, which occurred on 6/11/2021 at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Research & Referral Hospital (KUTRRH). Mzee was a Retired Agricultural Extension Officer in the greater Gusii region.

Son to the late Daniel Oichoe Sanaya and the late Mama Mariam Moraa. Beloved husband to late Teresa Kerubo, Bathsheba Kemunto and Truphena Mongina. Father to the late Charles, Fridah, Robert, the late Joyce, Mellen, Mary, Rose, Marjorie, Gladys, George (KeNHA), Evans, Eunukeh, Timothy, Hon. Jackline Karani (Asp Women Rep Kisii County),VeraDinah (Gesonso Police Station), late Okari, Bruce (USA), Daniel, Chris, and Samwel. Father-in-law to the late Nyaboga, Shadrack, Isaiah, Sibiah, Alphayo, Ogendi, Happiness, James, Douglas, Dorothy, Edna, the late Ouko, late Flora and the late Peris.

Brother, Korera, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend to many.

Funeral arrangements are going on at his Nyamache & Raitigo homes and KMA Centre, Upper Hill, Nairobi.

A fundraiser to offset medical & funeral expenses will be held today Tuesday 16/11/2021 at LMS Maxwell SDA Church from 4pm.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 17/11/202 I at the Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell) at 11am.

Burial will take place on Friday 19/11/2021 at his Nyamache Home.
