REV. CANON EMERITUS JARED INDETIE ESHAMWATA

1932 to 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee Reverend Canon Emeritus Jared Indetie Eshamwata which occurred on 13th November 2021 at Nairobi Hospital.

He was the loving husband to Lydia Angaya. Father to the late Jocelyne Guda, Dr. Douglas Indetie (KALRONVB Nairobi), Winnie Masheti (Kakamega), Livingstone Indetie, Joan Okeyo (Utalii College), the late George Indetie, Danie Indetie, the late Grace Indetie, and Sarah Indetie (Safaricom). He was a father in-law to Fredrick Guda, Reuber Masheti, Alphayo Okeyo, Anna Hoka, Grace Wanjiru, Edith Imbayi, Juliet Malika, Jackline Lobo.

Grandfather to Tina, Mike, Lydia, Angela, Jedida, Winnie, Manu, the late Jay, Pauline Angaya, Jocelyne Moyi, Jared Jnr Flora, Mmbasu, Pauline Masheti, Pauline Malika, Jamie, Sean, Austin, Sharleen, Kimberly, Emmanuel, lan, Annabelle, Brian and Makungu. Great-grandfather to Keith, Melisa, Messi, Shanelle, Ethan, Nathan, Hazel and Yuri.

Planning meetings are being held at his house Moi Estate, Lang’ata – House Number 24, from 5:00pm (Devotior Service and Committee).

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday 24th November at St. Marks Church, Westlands – Nairobi, beginning at 11.00am.

The body will then be flown to Butere, for the final mass at St. Lukes Cathedral – Butere, on the 26th November 2021, beginning at 10.00am. Thereafter the final Send-off will be held on 27th November, 2021, Shianda Mushimul village beginning at 9.00am.
