CHARLES WARUINGE KAHIU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Charles Waruinge Kahiu, formerly of UNON which occurred on 21st November, 2021, at MP Shah Hospital, after a short illness.

Son of the late Ashford Kahiu Thotho and the late Salome Wanjiku Kahiu. Husband of the late Catherine Wairimu Waruinge. Father of Salome Wanjiku, Ashford Kahiu, Agnes Njoki and John Munge. Brother of the late Grace Wangari Mukuru, Sarah Nduta Mbugua, Edward Kimiti, Robert Munyua, Mary Wairimu Gitau (UK) and Leonard Njenga.

Son-in-law of the late John Munge Kagia and the late Rachael Njoki. Father-in-law of Benson Ngunjiri (Bentech System), Adelaide Ateshela and Joseph Mungai (UK). Grandfather of Michael Ndiritu, Whitney Wairimu, Jesicca Gathoni, Catherine Wairimu, Morgan Kangethe and Roseline Wairimu. An uncle and a friend to many.

Family & friends are meeting at his Banana Hill residence daily for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege eaves MP Shah Hospital, on Tuesday 30th November, 2021, at 9:00am and thereafter funeral services at St. Luke A.C.K Muthurwa, and later burial will be held at his Njiku farm in Muthua.
