It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Josephine Kagendo Njeru (Discount), who hails from Chuka Township, Meru South, that occurred on Thursday 25/11/2021.

Beloved wife of Leonard Njeru Ngaine (Discount). Loving mother of the late Anrid Mary Kainyu, Lisper Wanja, Sophia Gakii, Euginia Gatwiri and Evelyn Mukami. Mother-in-law of Joel Kenyakisa, Byron Maina, Martin Mugambi and Simon Mbugua.

Sister of Richard, Mary, Kathuni, Bedford, the late Lisbeth, Rosalid, James and Casty. Sister-in-law of the late Hellen, Mbeba, Rhoda, Njeri, the late Ngai, Mutegi, the late Janet, Pasqwale, Antony, Asunta, Tarasira, the late Dominic, Michael, Polycarp and Mary. Grandmother of Beryl, Wilson, Wilma, Lionel, Bryvck, Liora and Hunter. Aunt of many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Chuka Town.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital Mortuary on 04/12/2021, at 10:00am and thereafter the mass and laying of the body will be at Nthima Village in Tharaka Nithi County.
