SARAH NYAMBURA KOIGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sarah Nyambura Koigi, on the morning of 25th November, 2021.

Sarah is daughter of the late Solomon Koigi Kabiu and the late Rahab Nyambugi Koigi. She is sister to Rachel Wanjiru, Jane Wanjiku, Margaret Wangui, Edward Gachunu, Samuel Njoroge, Moses Gakuru, Norah Muthoni Kamau, Nicholas Njenga and Paul Owen Ndung’u (the late). She is sister-in-law to Mary Wanjiru, Eric Kamau, Caroline Njenga, Beth Ndungu (the late) and Catherine Gakuru (the late).

Loving mother to Dennis Koigi, David Gikang’a, Paul Ndung’u, Dianne Wamaitha, Dion Gachunu, Derrick Muigai and Karen Wanjiru. Mother-in-law to Donna May, Veronica Wanjiru, Fredah Ntinyari, Kevin Chege, Anne Mureithi, Maryanne Nyambura and Francis Wamuthiani. Grandmother to Ashay & Elijah; Jeff, Xavier & Xachary Gikang’a; Anita & Kimberley Ndung’u; Sarah, Mitchelle & Tamara Chege; Felly Njunu; Wendo Thayu Muigai; Jonathan Wamuthiani. Auntie and grandmother to many more.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her parent’s home in Gachorue /Banana Hill, Karuri.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Kenyatta University Training, Referral and Research Hospital) along the Northern Bypass at 10:30am, on Friday, 3rd December 2021 followed by the funeral service at ACK Emmanuel Church – Karuri, at 1:00pm and interment thereafter at Gachorue, Karuri at the family graveside.
