JOHN BOSCO KINUTHIA KAGUNYI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr John Bosco Kinuthia Kagunyi, which occurred on Monday morning the 29th of November 2021.

Husband of Margaret Njoki Kinuthia. Loving dad of David Kagunyi & Naomi, Lawrence Muigai & Irene, and Antony Muiruri & Mercy. Son of the late David Kagunyi Miano and the late Ruth Wangari Kagunyi. Brother of Susan Wanjiku Runo, Teresiah Wairimu Kimani, Regina Wangui Karanja, Jacinta Gathoni Kagunyi, Joseph & Joyce Muiruri, the late Peter Wathika & Jane Wathika, Esther Wanjiru Kairani (TSC), Edward & Peris Mburu, John Njari Kagunyi and Jane Kagunyi (KRA).

Step-brother to Stephen Wanyoike Kagunyi, Veronicah Nyambura among others. Son-in-law to the late Muigai Njau and Keziah Wanjiku Muigai. Brother-in-law of Isaac Munyua, Peninah Muigai (NWSC) and Esther Muthoni. A dad and an uncle to many and Grand-dad to Njokis, Wangaris, Muthoni and John Bosco.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his family home, Ngochi, Githunguri, Kiambu County from 4pm to plan for the burial and a fund-raising event (Harambee) placed to help the family offset the hospital bill. The fundraising event (Harambee) shall be held at Githunguri Holy Family Catholic Church on Sunday the 5th of December 2021 starting from 2pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 07/12/2021 at 9am. The funeral service will be at Holy Family Catholic Church Githunguri starting 11am, followed by burial at his home, Githunguri.
