PAUL RAPHAEL OTHIENO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Paul Raphael Othieno, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather, who left us to be with our Lord on 20th November, 2021. He was an accomplished accounting professional, and formerly a Senior Accountant at Kenya Industrial Estate (KIE).

Paul was the son of the late Mzee Ancentus Odindo and the late Mama Antonina Aluoch of Alego Walure, Siaya County. Step-son to Mama Angelina Anyango (Nyagang’). Son-in-law to the late Mzee Romanus Oyuga and the late Mama Maria Nyaoro of Gem Aluor Kopere. Husband to Leonida Atieno. Father to the late Mary Muwanga, Dr. Edwardina Aloo Ndhine, Eng. Leopold Asawo, Vincent Othieno Oyenga, Frederick Robert Ochieng’, CPA Christine Otieno, Edith Adhiambo and Maureen Oyuga.

Brother to the late Ludfica Akwiri, Seraphina Ajode, Teresa Omondi, Sr. Teresita Odindo, the late Nicholas Osaho Odindo, the late Peter Odhiambo and Dr. Maurice Odindo. Step-brother to Hilda Auma, Charles Opile, Aloys Oloo, Gabriel Omondi and others. Father-in-law to Haruna Muwanga, the late Eric Riaga Alsewo Ndhine, Susan Akoth Asawo, Daniela Volk Othieno, Esther Ochieng’, Pastor David Otieno and Collins Okoth.

Brother-in-law to the late William Akwiri, Ruth Saburi Osaho,Tanya Odhiambo and the late Margaret Odindo. Brother-in-law to the late Joseph Oyuga, the late Stephen Okwiri, the late Rosemary Okoth and the late John Juma. Paul leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul fought a short illness bravely borne and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

We will bid him farewell at his home in Walure Village, K’Ochieng’ A, Boro, Siaya County on 7th December, 2021 at 9am.
