PETER KAHENIA KURIA

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Mr. Peter Kahenia Kuria which occurred on 8th December 2021, after a short Illness at Nazareth Hospital. He hails from Maria-ini village, Mataara location Gatundu North Sub-County, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Kuria (Gatharau) and the late Ngonyo Kuria, husband to Felistas Nduta Kahenia. Father to Mrs.Theresia Ngonyo Wamathai and the late Christopher Wamathai from (0Ikalou), Mrs. Salome Murugi Githio and Stanley Githio Njenga (Wa Nduta) Gatundu, Mrs. Margaret Njeri Karuri and the late Joseph Karuri (Rugwiti), John Kuria Kahenia and Pauline Muthoni Kuria (Juja), Dominic Mwangi Kahenia and Emma Nduta Mwangi, Hanna Muthoni Kahenia (Kikuyu), James Njoroge Kahenia and Pauline_Wanjiku Njoroge (Eves wine and spirit, Nairobi), Jane Wangari Kahenia (Nyamakima), Samuel Kairia Kahenia (Kikuyu) and Florence Wanjiru Kahenia. , Brother to the late Maria Njeri Ngandu, the late Njoroge Gatharau, the late Wangari Gichuhi, the late Wairimu Njuguna, the late Beth Wamaitha, the late Francis Chege and the late Michael Gicharu (Maisha).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Maria-ini village, Mataara location, Gatundu North sub-county, Kiambu County from 3.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave KU Mortuary Thika road, at 8.00AM on Friday, 17th December 2021, followed by holy Mass at St. Anne Mataara Catholic Church at 12 pm, thereafter the burial ceremony will follow at his home Maria-ini Village.
