JONAH AKWEYU MUCHITI, RTD. WARRANT OFFICER

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rtd. Warrant Officer II, Jonah Akweyu Muchiti, which occurred on 11th December, 2021, after a long battle with illness.

Son of the late Mzee Peter Muchiti and Mama Diana Mukumbeti. Beloved husband of Juliet Shikami (Shavirotsi Primary). Loving father of Mildred Akweyu (Lubao Primary), Drucilla Akweyu (Kenya Navy Primary), Jesse Akweyu (Kenya Railways) and Mercy Akweyu (Kenyatta University). Father-in-law of Edward Khayata and Josiah Shididi.

Brother of Pst. Patrick Agola, Flora Muchiti, Caleb Muchiti, Clement Muchiti, Symphrose, Agnes, Joseph and Paul Shikali. Brother-in-law of the late Wilherminna Imbukha, the late CH. Henry Shikami, the late Patty Bihembo, the late Renard Mwoyo, John Ikutwa, Angelina Indakuli and Antonina Luyali, among others.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Mukumu Funeral Home, on 22nd December, 2021, for burial on 23rd December, 2021, at his home ,Busalwa Village, Muranda Ward, Shinyalu Constituency, Kakamega County.
