It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jasper Nyakoe Mong’are, which occurred on Sunday 12/12/2021, at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Loving husband of the late Teresa Bosibori and Vane Gesare. Father of Jared, Crispus, George, Duke. Stella, Erick, Nancy and Carol. Father-in-law of Gladys, Carol, Angeline, Emily Gwaro, Abel, Emily Oiriga, Joseph & Hon. Robert Monda, Dr. Simon Monda, Philip and Hon. Simon Ogari, among others.

Brother of the late Nyaboe, Mong’are, Gesora, Gekone, Momanyi, Philipo, the late Ishmael, the tate Kieya, the late Nyauma, the late Ong’era and, the late Omenge, among others. Grandfather of Branden, Derrick, Consolata, Christian, Christa, Crystal, Mark, Moses, Maryanne, Melvinah, Rose, Brighton, Ellah, Ericka, Abigael, Benjamin, Carlton,Victor and Shem, among others.

Cousin of Emeritus CI David Maraga and the late former MP Tom Mong’are and others. Fundraising to settle hospital bills and funeral expenses will be held on 21/12/2021, at Holy Family Basilica Meeting Halls, Nairobi, his Kebirigo home and Konate, Nyamira County.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary on 23/12/2021, for sleepover at Ibara Mission Mortuary, Kebirigo. Burial will be held on 24/12/2021, at his Kebirigo home, Nyamira County.
