CEPHAS RICHARD RANOGWA OGORE KINYANGI

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our patriarch Mr. Cephas Richard Ranogwa Ogore Kinyangi – Simba – of Chebara, Aldai, Nandi County that occurred on the 9th of January 2022 after a short illness.

He was the loving husband of Mrs. Dorcas lminza Kinyangi.

Son of the late Washington Ogore and the late Carnary Adego of Kisii County. Step-son of the late Loice Mudola. Son-in-law to the late Pst Charles Lulu and the late Robai Alusa of Vihiga County.

Loving father to James Mukidza, the late Keziah Adego, Mary Jaluha, Elijah Lumadede, Rees Lulu, John Kinyangi, Joshua Kinyangi, Elizabeth Ndayala, Dorothy Mudola and Diana Muhonia.

Father-In-law to Millicent Opallo, Albert Masiolo, Mariam Lesian, Matilda Wairimu. Valentine Ndiku, Perpetua Njoki, Kenneth Mbithi, Rodgers Mwashi and John Otido.

Grandfather of Sandra, Valessa, Barbara, the late Alison, Bridgit, Collins, the late Denise, Wayne. Jamie, Talia, Michael, Deborah, Kimberly, Rodger, Valeria, Jesse, Richard, Samson, Austin, Alvin, Cephas, Brian, Maxwell, Stacy. Lennox, Gloria, Moses, john, Aiden, Lucas.

Great grandfather to Jewel and Keziah. Brother to Joram, the late Rispah, the late Japheth, Mary, the late Zechariah, Peter and Elizabeth.

Brother-in-law to Asap, Balusi, Mmboga, Bowe, Marisa, the late Grace, Morara, Esther, Truphena, the late Deina, the late Elizabeth,Alfred, Leah, Serah and Joyce. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, friend and wise counsel to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting every day at his home in Chemong’ village, Nandi County, for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital mortuary, Kisumu, on Friday 14th January 2022.

Burial service will be held on Saturday, 15th January 2022 at his Chemong home starting 0800hrs.

A legend has rested. May his peace prevail.
