WESLEY ATUYA OGARI (FORMER SENIOR ASSISTANT CHIEF)

(1945 – 2022)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of former Senior Assistant Chief Wesley Atuya Ogari, which occurred on 8th January, 2022.

Husband of Colleta Wesley Atuya. Son of the late Samuel Ogari Monchana, the late Pacificah Kemunto Ogari and the late Kwamboka Ogari. Son-in-law of the late Onkundi Mitema and Prisca Onkundi.

Father of Duke Nyang’au, George Ouko, Zipporah Nyakarario, Douglas Atuya, Rose Nyamoita, Hon. Emmanuel Atuya and Linet Monyangi.

Father-in-law to; Rose Ouko, Naom, Kefinah, Jackline, Duke and Enock. Korera to; Nyakundi, Hellen, Rakiru, Rebecca, the late Onchomba, the late Prisca, Omanga, Rose, the late Nyokwoyoderiajerusa and the late Momanyi. Brother-in-law to; Anari, Christopher, Mitema, Otaara, Nyakerario, Mary, Mokeira and Beatrice.

A lovely grandfather to; Kwamboka, Raila, Philip, Onchomba and others.

Brother of Geanche, the late Nyamongo, Mosokobe, the late Nyambegora, Okiro, the late Omenyi, Maake. the late Mang’era, Onyango, Sese, the late Moraa, Nyakara, the late Obonyo, Salome, Prisca, Bosibori, Nyabeta and Nyakambi.

An uncle to; James Nyatigo, Erick Mosokobe, Geanches, Nyamongos, Mosokobes, Nyambegeras, Okiros, Omenyis, Maakes, Mang’eras, Onyangos, Seses, Moraas, Nyakaras, Obonyos, Solemes, Priscas, Nyabetas and Nyakambis. Cousin to Senior Chief Ondiba among others.

The cortege will leave Siloam Hospital Mortuary – Kericho, on Friday 14th January, 2022, at 8.00am and the funeral will be held on the same day at Endiba Village, Nyaramba Sub-location, Bosaragei Location, Nyamira County.
