MARY ESTHER NDUTA MUNGAI

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing away of our beloved Mary Esther Nduta Mungai on the 18th January 2022 after a short illness bravely borne.

Mary was the beloved wife of Mr. Arthur Ng’ang’a Mungai of Thindigua Estate in Kiambu. She was a most loving mother to Carolyn Wambui, Kenneth Mungai, Ann Wangari, Elizabeth Wanjiru, Dr. Winnie Wairimu and the late George Waithaka. She was mother-in-law to Lwanga Mwangi, Charbel Mune and Phyllis Wangui.

Mary was the daughter of the late George Waithaka and the late Hannah Wangari. She was daughter-in-law to the late John Mungai and Eilisipha Wambui. Sister to James Njoroge, the late Wilfred Muriithi, Winfred Wairimu Ngugi, Godwin Muhia and the late Stephen Mwaura.

Sister-in-law to the late Ezekiel Kaberi, the late Elizabeth Wanjiru, the late Wallace Kuria, Reuben Kiarie, Samuel Kimani, Shadrack Chuchu, Joseph Kamau and Moses Ndung’u and many others.

She was a doting grandmother to Georgina Nduta, Ethan Ng’ang’a, Hailey lmani, Haika Mune, Tracy Wanjiku, Matthew Kamau, Aiden Ng’ang’a, Joshua Ng’ang’a, Nduta Mune, Jeremy Ng’ang’a and Isaiah Karagacha. She was an adored Auntie to many. Mary was friend and mentor to many and will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.

Friends and Family are meeting daily to condole at the family home, Thindigua Estate in Kiambu from 5pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, 26th January 2022 at 8.00am for a funeral service at PCEA Thindigua Church at 10.00am and burial at her home in Thindigua.
