MWALIMU ELIJAH KIPROTICH CHEMENEI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved patriarch Mwalimu Elijah Kiprotich Chemenei which occurred on 19/01/2022.

Son of the late Simion, Elizabeth and Esther Tapterik. Husband to Sarah Chemenei. Father of Ken Rotich, Rotich Sambai, Margaret Kemei, Jackline Keston, Fancy Langat, Faith Sang and Joy Chemutai.

Brother to the late Catherine, Mary, the late Jonathan, the late James, the late Sarah, Recho, Rebecca, Anna, Eunice, Esther, John, the late Grace, Lily, Linah, Erick, Evaline and Maryline.

Son-in-law to the late Kap Jonah Bwogeny. Father-in-law to Caroline Rotich, Evaline Rotich, the late Joel Kemei, Enock Keston, Jeremiah Langat and Michael sang. Grandfather to many.

The fundraiser in aid of medical bills and funeral arrangements will be held on Tuesday, 25/01/2022 at their home Kamanamsim.

The cortege leaves Litein Mission Hospital mortuary on Thursday, 27/01/2022 at 10.00am for the memorial service at Kamanamsim A.I.C. church at 12:00 pm thereafter for an overnight stay at his home.

The funeral service shall be held on 28/01/2022 at his home Kamanamsim Village, Bureti, Kericho County at 10:00am.
