JESSIE MUTHONI NYAMU

1932 – 2022

We regret to announce the passing of Jessie Muthoni Nyamu on 25th January 2022.

She was the daughter of Dishon Nguru and Mary Wangari.

Sister of Ruth Wanjiru Wanguru, Col. Joseph Nyaga Nguru, and the late Dorcas Njeri Macharia, Susannah Wangui Buku, Dedan Kimani, Arthur Kiarahu, Hannah Njoki Macharia, Grace Njeri Mukuna and Simon Kamau among others. Sister-in-law of Mary Nguru and Susan Kanguro among others.

Mother of John and Sibongile Nyamu, Joy and Clifford Mutero, Irene and John Muriithi, Ruth and Emmanuel Lubembe, Amos and Mary Kimani, Joseph and Rachael Nguru.

Grandmother of Wangeci, James and Cheryn, Wairimu and Mwai, Waihiga, Noni and Alec, MaryAnne and MarkAnthony; Ian, Rosemary and Jessica, Ndirangu, Carol and Nyaga. Great-grandmother of Cameron.

There will be a meeting at All Saint’s Cathedral Nairobi on Monday 31st January 2022 from 5.30pm. Other meetings are being held at the family home in Ridgeways.

Prayer service will be held at Ridgeways from 2pm on Sunday 30th January 2022.

The funeral service will be held at ACK St. Paul’s Kiambu at 11am on Tuesday 1st February 2022. Burial will be held in Kangema, Murang’a, on Wednesday 2nd February 2022.
