GRACE WAMBUI KAREITHI

It is with deep gratitude and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Grace Wambui Kareithi who passed on the 27th of January, 2022.

She was a loving wife of the late John Baptista Kareithi. She is the daughter of the late Michael Njeru and the late Banice Wachinga Njeru. She is the daughter-in-law of the late Mwangi Karumba and the late Nyaguthie Karumba. Sister to John Githinji, the late Wangari Wangai, the late Gitonga Nieru,Muthoni Munyori,Jane Maina, Patrick Mwathi, the late Ngema Gichohi and Jennifer Chepkonga. Sister-in-law to many.

Mother to Lucy and Githu Mungai, Jeniffer and the late David Githaiga, Ann Kareithi, Patrick Kareithi, the late Njeru Kareithi, the late Anastasia Musuku, Robert and Patricia Mathenge. Daughter-in-law to Karumba wa Gathimba and Nyaguthii wa Karumba. Auntie, Grandmother and Great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at her home in Ceru Village, Kiamwangi Karatina, from 5.00pm – 7.00pm. Meetings for funeral arrangements will be held at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5:00pm – 8:00pm from Monday 31st January, 2022, to Wednesday 2nd February, 2022.

A requiem Mass in celebration of her life will be held at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church – Karatina, from 10.00am on 3rd February, 2022.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 3rd February, 2022, at 7.00am, for Karatina. Burial will take place on the 3rd February, 2022, at her farm in Gikororo Kamunyaka.
