JACKSON OLWENDA

It is with deep sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Jackson Olwenda, formerly of Aga Khan Education Services, former Chief Inspector of Schools Western Province and Assistant Chief Inspector of schools in Kenya, lecturer at Moi University and a teacher to many.

Son to the late Shadrack Mboro and the late Mama Julia and the late Nerea. Husband to the late Linet Ngawo and Rhoda Olwenda. Father to the late Maryanne, Ken, Leslie, Bill, Ivy and Frank. Father in-law to Sharon, Dr. Robert and Dr. Kinganga.

Grandfather to Alex, Vicky, Maryanne, Givens, Briegel, Jeremy, Leticia and Kenji.Brother to the late Beldine,Walter, Elsa, the late Ojijo, Dudi, Dusilla, the late Okindo, the late Charles, Micah, the late Margaret, Loice, and Eucabeth. Brother in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

His burial will be held on Friday, 18th February, 2022 at his home in Karachuonyo, Kanyaluo East Division, Homabay County.

His cheerful attitude, sense of humour and bright smile will be missed by his family, friends and all those he worked with in his long career as an educationist.
