ALEXANDER MURIUKI NJAGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Alexander Muriuki Njagi, which occurred on 15th February, 2022. The late Alexander served as a County Director of Survey in various counties in the Republic of Kenya including Marsabit, where he retired from Public Service.

Alexander was the devoted son of the late Jerimoth Njagi Muthumbi and the late Judy Wagitare Njagi. He was beloved husband to Venerable Mary Muringo, Archdeacon of the ACK Wang’uru Archdeaconry in Kirinyaga Diocese. He was the doting father to Isaac Njagi Muriuki and loving brother to Joseph Maina, Margaret Maina, Jemimah Wanjiku and Gathomi.

He was son-in-law to Stephen Murage Njogu & the late Deborah Wamucii Stephen. Alexander was brother-in-law to Samuel Njogu & Stellah Nkirote, Alfred Muraguri & Susan Wanjiku, James Ngaire & Esther Njeri, Faith Wambui & Nahashon Kinga, Mercy Wangeci & Simon Mbuitu, Grace Nyawira, Paul Karingithi & Charity Wanjiru. He was a cousin, uncle & friend to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting for prayers every day at his residence at Giakibata village in Gatwe, Kirinyaga County from 4:00pm. Other meetings will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday, 22nd February, 2022 and Wednesday, 23rd February, 2022 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 24th February, 2022 starting at 10.00am at ACK All Saints Church, Gatwe then the final rites at his home in Giakibata.
