It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mama/Koko Rosa Misanya Nawanjaya Walingo that occurred on 17th February 2022.

She was the daughter of Late MatayoWawire Cheng’ole and late Elizabeth Munandi of Abamuchuu Clan of Bukhakunga Village. She was the sister to: Late Daudi Matayo, Chengole Matayo, Fridah Makokha, Flora Nafula among others.

Wife to Late Councilor Abraham Walingo Lwambi from Sawawa Area, Burundu Location, West Kabras Ward. Beloved mother to Bertha Wachiye (USA), Lwambi Walingo formerly of KNH, Dr Lucy, Kibabii University, Prof. Mary of Masaai Mara University, Alice, USA, Achim, Kenya Forestry College Londiani, Chengole, Maseno University, Chiruyi Fuga Ltd – Nairobi, Dr Mbogani Muranga University, Prof Tom, South Africa, Modester Maseno University, Late Benson, Late Edward, Wamalwa, Navakholo Sub-County, Judy, Ndalu, Solomon of Airtel, Salome, Samson, Akuna, Obed, Rex, Avuna, Sela, Bonface.

Sister in law to the Late Matayo Mwonja, Late Bakari Fuchingo, Late Loice Injuli and Late Khalituma Khavakall. Mother in-law to Timothy Wachiye, Dr. Ben Chikamai, Samuel Irangi, Jerry Musongai, Snr. Pst Sindani, Late FIcirina, Esther, Everlyne, Pst Jemimah, Noloyiso, Mildred, Lydia, Florence, Phanice, Mercy, Catherine, Caro among others.

Grandmother to Edwin, Christine, Sheila, Shitawa, Kunny, Dennis, Abraham(s), Kevin, Keith, Johny, Arnold, Ricky, Rosa, Beni, Cadeau, Rosa(s), Ian, Ivan, Star,Tecky, Nathaniel, Noah, Heather, Suffi, Resto, Asaph, Blossom among others. She was a great grandmother to many.

Mama will be laid to rest on Saturday 26th February, 2022 at her home in Sawawa Village, Malava Sub-County, Kakamega County
