CELEBRATION OF A LIFE WELL LIVED
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Olive Wangui Mungai (Mwalimu), after a short illness.
Daughter of the late Solomon Kinuthia Kabira and late Racheal Njambi, wife of the late Christopher Mungai, mother of the late Mary Wambui Kamau, Winnie Njambi, Teresiah Wakonyo, Peninnah Njeri, Florence Njeri, Margaret Wanjeri, John Kang’ethe and Solomon Kinuthia.
Mother-in-law of Simon Kamau lchangai, Fred Wekesa Kusienya, the late Isaac Gachiri, Lawrence Ndung’u, Samuel Gicheru and Agatha Mbeni.
Sister of the late Harrison Mwaura, Margaret Nyakiago, Mary Wambui, Rev. Laban Kamau and Irene Kamaru.
Grandmother to Wagio, Mbuki, Njoroge, Mungai and others. Great-grandmother to four.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Banana Hill near St. Martin De Pores Catholic Church.
The cortege leaves Nazareth Hospital on 4th March, 2022 at 8.00am followed by requiem mass at St. Martin De Pores Catholic Church, from 11.00am.
She will be laid to rest at her farm Njiku, near Muthurwa Secondary, Kiambu County.
