DR JAMES GITONGA

We regret to announce the ultimate death of Dr. James Gitonga, who left us on 24th February, 2022. Till his death he was the Deputy Director of Medical Services Ministry of Health.

Son of the late Mr. Peter M’Limbere and Mrs. Joyce M’Limbere.

Husband to Dr Rita Gitonga (Meru University). Son-in-law to the late Bernard Lyria and Mary Lyria.

Father to Kathambi (USIU), Gatwiri (UoN) and Mitchel (Fred’s Academy).

Brother to Alice Kaburo (Isiolo Hospital), Kamechu (TSC), Francis, Lucy, Karinguri (Prisons), Kaaniru, Kinyua, Mwingirwa and Lydia.

Brother-in-law to Vineous, Kinya, Kianira, Charles, Susan, Martin, Edward, Richard, Lydia, Faith, Eliza and Moris.

Uncle to Muchui, Stephen, Martin Gakii, Boniface, Munene, Mutethia, Lewis, Karwitha, Mwenda, Karimi, Mugambi, Mukiri, Mwenda and Mutugi. A cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home at Kaaga and Labaita Lounge Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Referral Funeral Home, on 11th March, 2022, at 7am for the funeral service at Kaaga MCK Church.
