It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Mary Wangari Maina wife to Joshua Maina (wa Macilla).

Sister to Esther Njeri Mungai (Maiella), Mice Njoki Munge (Mai lvtaiiiu), Joyce Wanjiru Mungai (UK).

Step sister to Gicakwo Mungai, Late Kaigo Mungai and Late Keda Mungai.

Mother to Lucy Wanjiru, Late Hannah Wanjiku, Joseph Mungai, Hannah Nyambura, Esther Njeri, Julius Gwathe, Rahab Ngure of JOIRAN, Rachael Wangari, David Wambugu and Martha Muthoni.

Mother-in-Law to Legei Njoroge, Paul Kuria, John Mburu, Ngure Thiong’o of Zengenta Pharmaceuticals, Francis Muturi, Alice Nyambura, Martha Wanjiru and Beatrice Njoki. A grandmother and great grandmother to many.

She was an adored auntie and cousin to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting every day at Maiella Farm (Goi goi) and on Tuesday, 8th March from 5:30pm at Opul Hotel, Thindigwa, Kiambu.

The cortege leaves Jamani Nursing Home, Karai, Naivasha, on 10th March 2022 at 7.00a.m.

The funeral service and burial will take place at her home Maiella Farm (Goigol) Maiella Sub location, Nakuru County.
