MWALIMU DANIEL WAFULA WAKAPE

With memories strong and love so well shared, we are saddened to announce the death of Juniper Daniel Wafula Wakape, a teacher extraordinaire, husband, father to many, a wonderful uncle, a jovial grandfather and a happy soul. Mr Wakape, 72, passed away on Saturday 14th May, 2022 at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret after a short illness.

Mwalimu is the son of the late Samson Wakape and Tepla Nafuna. He is the brother to David, Stephen, Edward, Moses, Henry, Albert, Aaron, Timothy, Rachael, Mary,Agnes, Ruth, Janerose, Jane, Josephine, Roseline,Teresa, Perris, Rose, Doris and Emily, among others. He is survived by Lucy and Roseline. Daniel was the father of Oscar,Angie, Moses, Caro, Mike, Paul, Edwin, Faith, Gloria, Brian,Arnold and Selpher.

A fundraising is planned for Tuesday 24th May, 2022 at 8.00am at his home in Misikhu, Bungoma County, where family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and thanksgiving.

Please bring your fondest memories on Friday 27th May, 2022 as we lay him to rest at the family interment grounds in Kibisi, Misikhu, Bungoma County.

With memories strong and love so well shared, we go on, as we must. When our time is over, again we will meet.
