JULIA WANGECHI NDEKERE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear mother Julia Wangechi Ndekere of Nyahururu, lgwamiti which occurred on 29th May, 2022 after a short illness.

Loving wife to the late Richard Ndekere Maina. Mother to Eston & Caroline Maina, Anthony & Everlyne Ndekere, David & Rebecca Kabuti, Joseph & Njeri Kamau, Lucy & Thuo Gachari, Benard & Eva Gachoka, Fredrick & Nyambura Menyi and Zaweria & John Wanjohi.
Step-mother to Simon, Maina & Kabuti Ndekere.

Grandmother to Ceci & Shiru Maina, Ceci & Jason Ndekere, Wangeci, Ndekere and Rihana Kabuti, Wangeci, Anthony, Richy, Muriuki and Julie Kamau, Collins, Gachari and Mumbi Thuo, Brandon, Jaiden and Maina Gachoka, Wangeci, Shiru and Wangari Menyi, Bernadette, Seth and Lerin Wanjohi. Great-grandmother to David Reece Githae.

Sister to the late Joseph Kamau, Peninah Wanjeri, the late Bernadette Menyi, Mary Wacera, Cecilia Kagika, Magdalene Wangui, Ricarda Wangari, Mikielina Wambui, Susan Muthoni, the late Emma Njeri and Elizabeth Murikira.

Meetings and prayers are being held at Eureka Highrise Hotel – Nairobi from Monday to Friday and Jogoo Kimakia Thika Gwa Chege on Monday,Wednesday and Friday from 5:30p.m.

The cortege leaves St. Benedict Mortuary – Nyahururu, on 17th June, 2022 at 8.00am, for funeral service and thereafter burial will be held in Igwamiti – Nyahururu, starting from 9:00am.
