SARA KINYA MURITHI
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we say goodbye to our daughter, sister, cousin, auntie and friend Sara Kinya Murithi, who entered into rest after a valiant battle with illness in her 49th year.
She has gone too soon! She leaves behind a remarkable legacy in her cherished daughter, the bright and cheerful, Makena Esther Murithi.
We commit Makena’s life to God’s hands and as a family we commit to support her to become the best version of herself and achieve her highest potential!
Sara Kinya also leaves behind her loving parents Jeremia Murithi and Esther Murithi. She was the sister of Timothy Kimathi,Victor Murithi and the late Munene Murithi; sister-in-law of Bonnie Berkowitz, Christine Wangari, Nicola Munene; and auntie of Jeremy Munene, Lyra Murithi-Berkowitz, Davin Mutwiri,Aden Mutwiri. She is a treasured niece, cousin and auntie of relatives in the Kabwi and Ngaine families in Nairobi and Meru.
A memorial service for Sara will be held on Thursday 23rd June, 2022 at CITAM – Karen, from 2.00pm.
Sara will be laid to rest on Saturday 25th June, 2022 at their family farm in Uruku, Meru.
We thank all of you who have taken e time to mourn with the family in both Nairobi and Meru.

Hello. I would like to reach out to Sara’s parents, brother and daughter. Is the anyway to be in touch with them. I use to be her best friend at school in SSC. My name is Syarina. I want to share some photos and positive thoughts for her daughter. I want her to know what a wonderful friend and woman Sara was.
