It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mama Faustina Awiti Nambiro of Lureko, Mumias which occurred on 24th August 2022.

Daughter of late Alex Okune and Rebecca Manyasa of Eshirotsa lkoko.Wife to the late Mzee Peter Nambiro Mubatsi. Sister to the late Leonora, Christopher, Late Michael, Hillary and Elizabeth.

Loving mother to Patrick Mubatsi,Vincent Nambiro, Josephine Nambiro, Bernadette Nambiro, Hon. Anne Nambiro, Louis Nambiro, Dr. Elizabeth Nambiro and Christine Nambiro. Mother-in-law to Caroline and Chrispine, Eng. Cleophas Simiyu, Raphael Apungu, Dr. John Osewe, Martha Welime, Prof. Edward Mamati and Fabian Musila. Aunty, Teacher, and Mentor to many.

Grandmother to Moses, Catherine, Emanuel, Marcela, Mary, Mercy, Brenda, Mike, Julius, Johnny, Genevieve, Faustine, Philip, Cherly, Peter Apungu, Faustine Osewe, Peter, jimmy, Lewis, Daniella, Charles, Tony, Victor, Anderson, Austin and Alfred.

The cortege leaves St Mary’s Mission Mortuary for a requiem mass at St Romano’s Catholic Church Matawa, on Friday 2nd September 2022, at 12.30pm. Burial Mass will be held at her home in Lureko, Mumias on Saturday 3rd September 2022, starting 10.00am
