SALOME GAKII MAINGI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Salome Gakii Maingi after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Ezekiel M’Irea and the late Grace Gacheri. Daughter-in-law of the late Erasto M’thuranira Kaboya and the late Sabella Kathambi.

Loving wife to the late Jackson M’Maingi. Sister to the late Stanley Kirimi, the late Zipporah Karwitha, the late Benjamin Mutea, Philip Murithi M’Irea and Hellen Kaari Kinuu. Sister-in-law to the late John Mwongera and Leah Mwaromo. She was an aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend to many.

Friends and family will gather from Wednesday, 3 1st August, 2022 to Friday, 2nd September, 2022 at 5.00pm at All Saints Cathedral -Nairobi and daily at her home in Kithiu Village, Meru to assist in burial preparations.

The cortege leaves the Kenyatta National Hospital – Nairobi at 5:00am on Wednesday 7th September, 2022 for service at Mwiteria Methodist Church and burial at her rural home in Kithiu Village, Meru County on the same day.
