The Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) wishes to announce the passing on of Jeremiah Baariu Mberia on 9/10/2022. Until his demise, Mr. Mberia was working as a Clinical Instructor and Acting Chairperson in the Department of clinical Medicine, Surgery and Community Health.

Loving son of the late senior chief Jacob M’rimberia and the late Isabella Nthama M’rimberia.

Beloved husband to Terry Baariu of Kenyatta National Hospital. Father to Patricia Baariu (Ministry of Transport), Gloria Baariu of Josma Health Care Services, Joshua Mutethia and Emmanuel Mugambi.

Son-in-law to the late Charles Maitai and the late Isabella Maitai.

Brother to Kiruki, the late Nyegera, Mwongera, Mwikairi, the late Murega, Thuranira, Gitije, Nkonge, the late Kaigongi, Beatrice, Cecilia and Harriet.

Brother-in-law to Rebecca Kilea, the late Muthoni, the late Nkirote & Kathure, Zipporah, Esther, Gladys,Anne, Mwari, Kananu, Nancy, Doris and Lillian.

The cortege leaves KNH Mortuary on Wednesday, 19/10/2022 at 5:00 A.M. There will be a funeral service at the graveside followed by interment at his Ruiri home, Meru County.

You have fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. Now a crown awaits you in Heaven (2 Tim. 4:7-8).
