MAMA ROSE ANNE OUDIA OMAMO

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Mama Rose Anne Oudia Omamo on 12th October 2022 after a long, brave, battle with pancreatic cancer.

Daughter of the late Mzee Patrick and Mama Phoebe Nyunja of Yimbo Usenge. Sister of Jane Juma, Peres Omolo, the late Jura, Pamela Olulo, Meshack Ndagwa, the late Charles Ouma,Tom Nyunja and Rael Gillo. Cousin of Hellen, Mary, Rachel, Deborah, Risper and Jacob amongst others.

A loving wife of the late Hon. Dr. William Odongo Omamo and co-wife to Mama Joyce Grace Achola Omamo. Beloved mother of Dr. Rachel Omamo, Susan Omamo, Jacob Omamo, Dr. Elizabeth Omamo, Robert Omamo and Andrew Omamo. Step-mother of Tabitha Auma, Dr. Phoebe Josiah, Dr. Chimmy Omamo Olende, Helen Omamo, Ruth Ngobi, Amb. Senior Counsel Raychelle Omamo, Dr. Steven Were Omamo, Phillip Omamo, William Omamo and Tomas Omamo. Mother-in-law to James Opere, Wendy Jaluha and Fiona Abukutsa.

Grandmother to Andrew, Conan, Ayda, Matar and Tawala.

Sister-in-law to the late Mathlida Arara, the late Margaret Ogutu, the late Apollo Onywero, the late Agneta Kodingo, the late Seth Omamo,Tobias Omamo and Henry Omamo amongst Others.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Kisumu in the morning of 28th October for service at St. Mary’s A.C.K Kapiyo in Bondo at 12.30pm. She will be laid to rest at our Utonga home in Bondo on the 29th October 2022.

Funeral arrangement meetings in Nairobi will take place at Emilia Apartments Gatundu Road Kileleshwa on the 18th, 20th, 22nd, 24th and 25th of October from 6.00pm. Utonga home meetings are daily from 6.00pm.
