We regret to announce the sudden demise of Mr. Peter Njagi Mugwika, on 13/10/2022, at Komarock Modern Hospital – Kathwana (Tharaka Nithi County), after a short illness. Until his demise, he was the Vice Chairman BoD, Trans Nation SACCO Ltd, CSO – Gatunga Zone, the Director and founder of Gatunga Junior Academy.

Son of the late Musa Mugwika and Jerica Karigu. Son-in-law to Gelvasio Gacoe and Elizabeth Gakunga. Husband to Beatrice Mwende (Head Teacher Iriani Primary). Father to Ivy Kageni (Manager – KETSA), Lilian Gakii (ABSA Group Ltd), Emma Muthoni (Muthoni Njagi Advocates), Kevin Mwaki (Edinburgh School) and Hosea Mutugi (Nyangwa Boys).

Father-in-law to Kennedy Kamau (CEO – Fearless International).

Brother to Hellen Utonga, Samiru, Margaret Kariamati and Elizabeth Munda (Chogoria Girls High School).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gatunga, from 3.00pm in the evening, for funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Tenri Private Mortuary – Embu, on 22/10/2022, at 9:00am, for a requiem mass at Rwatha Primary School – Gatunga and thereafter burial will be held at his home in Gatunga.
