It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Francis Mwangi Mwendwa, which occurred on 21st October 2022.

Son to the late Joseph Muthama Mwendwa, Hannah Wanjiru and Philomena Nduku.

Husband to Lucy Njoki. Father to Rachael Wangechi, Catherine Shiro, MaryAnne Wamaitha and the late Kanini. Grandfather to Christian and Christopher all of USA. Step-father to Andrew. Doting Grand-dad to Usain Baraka (UB).

Brother to Moses and Justina, the late Kavulunze, Patrick and Margaret, John and the late Lucy, Mary and Peter, Jane and Meru, Terry and Richard, Lucy, Regina and Josiah, Esther, Jemima and Njuguna, Catherine and Kilonzo, Rebecca and Justin, Jacob and Priscilla.

Uncle to Dominic, Rosa, Tony, Mueni, JS Muthama, Irene, Nduku, Victor, JJ Muthama, Shiru, Armidale, Karanja, Andrew, Tina, Bernadette, Catherine, Nduku, Wawira, Nyaga, Munene, Muthama, Shiru, Nelly, Mwangi, Moses, J Muthamas, Sarah, Sammy, Serah, Peter, Jolly and Lisa, among many others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the late Joseph Mwendwa’s home in Ndaragwa Nyahururu, and at St. Andrews Church (New hall), Nairobi on Tuesday 25th October, 2022 and Thursday 27th October, 2022, at 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, at 6.00am, on Saturday 29th October, 2022. Funeral service will be held at Mwendwa’s farm in Ndaragwa Scheme, at 11.00am, followed by burial at the same venue.

We all loved him but God loved him most. May God rest his soul in eternal peace. Amen!
