MARGARET APONDI OCHIENG’

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of George Fred Olwande, announce the passing on of Margaret Apondi Ochieng’ our beloved matriarch.

Daughter to the late Mathias Ulaka and the late Alicia Wayama.

Beloved wife to George Fred Olwande. Loving mother to Dennis Ulaka, Elizabeth Akinyi, Lilian Atieno, Beryl Makaya, Judith Akoth and Benson Olwande. A doting grandmother to Fredrazel, Benson, Cheryl, Angel, Margaret, Naylah, Imran,Alicia, Shamsa and Santoine.

Sister to the late Sylvester Omollo, the late Mary Ojuok, the late Mark Okunga, Luke Wasonga, Tobias Ochieng’ and Anne Kochieng’. She was a sister in law, cousin and an aunt to many. Mother-in-law to Feroz Hemed, George Otieno and Carl Matuku.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 11111/22 and proceed for a requiem mass at A.C.K St.Luke Lundha church and then taken home for the night vigil.

The funeral ceremony will be held on the 12/11/22 at Lundha Primary School and thereafter family and close friends will proceed to her home for the burial on the 12/11/2022.
