It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mwalimu Jacinta Njeri Njoroge (Mother/Watoria) of Mutuma village, Mang’u, Gatundu North, Kiambu.

Beloved wife to the late Josphat Njoroge Karobia. Loving mother to Victoria Nyakio (Deputy Principal Nyaga Secondary), Boniface Watitu (Githuya Secondary), James Karobia,Thomas Ndung’u and Wilfred Karari.

Loving daughter to the late Francis Watitu Karari and Magdalene Nyambura Watitu. Step-daughter to Teresia Muthoni Watitu. Sister to Elizabeth Ng’endo Fikiri, Wenceslaus Karari (Jose), Redempta Mathu, the late Fedelina Wagio Mwenda, Peter Wanyoro and Lucy Wangari. Step-sister to Martin Rebo, Goretti Gicheha, Elizabeth Thiong’o, Rosaline Maina and George Wainaina.

Loving grandmother to Njeris, Njoroges, Njoki, Nyakio, Cecilia, Muthoni, Gloria among others. She was aunt and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Mutuma village and Toll-View Hotel, Kimbo Ruiru from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati on Tuesday, 22″d November 2022 at 8.00am for a requiem mass at St. Ann Catholic Church – Mutuma, from 11.00am. She will thereafter be laid to rest at the family home near Mutuma Primary School.

It is the almighty God who gave us our beloved Watoria and its him who has called her to rest in eternal peace. May the name of the Lord be praised.
