It is with grateful acceptance of God’s will that the family of Dr. Richard arap Kalya wish to announce his passing on to glory which occurred on Friday, 25th November 2022.

Dearest husband to Mrs. Esther Kalya. Father to Christine, Tuwei, Charles, Kenduiwyo & Shirleen.

Father-in-law to Eden Legesse, Agnes Kalya, Georgina Kalya & Victor Imbuye.

Beloved grandpa to the late Keith, Vanessa, Alvin, Yohanan, Miranda, Shirley, Albert, Samuel, the late Elizabeth, Olivia, Abraham, Eliana, Jude & Natania. Great grandpa to Rehema & Faraja.

He was a loved uncle to many. A dear colleague, cherished friend, well loved & highly valued member of the community & medical fraternity both in Kenya and abroad.

Daily meetings are taking place at his Mlimani residence in Nakuru.

There will be a funeral service held at 10:00am on Friday, 2nd December at Lakeview AGC Nakuru (4 followed by a burial at his Boito home, Kapcheptine in Bomet County on Saturday, 3rd December 2022.
